Red-White-Red Card

 

Third-country nationals who wish to stay in Austria for more than six months require a residence permit. For shorter stays, a visa may be required, depending on the duration and country of origin. Qualified professionals from third countries can apply for the Red-White-Red Card, which allows them to live in Austria for 24 months and work for a specific employer. Family members may apply for a Red-White-Red Card Plus.
